Corticobasal Syndrome

Corticobasal Syndrome (CBS) is a neurodegerative disorder. Persons with CBS may experience tremor, balance problems, slow movement, and rigidity. CBS shares some of the same symptoms of Parkinson’s disease and usually start around age 60. CBS may also be referred to as Corticobasal Degeneration (CBD), which is one of several neuropathologic causes of the syndrome.
